Lycée Brocéliande in the “Writing Shortens The Distances” adventure

Lycée Brocéliande

in the

“Writing Shortens The Distances”

adventure

Motivated students

Our five students first introduced themselves, using diversified 2.0 web tools

As for examples some introductions, showing each student’s sensibility:

Some of the tasks

  1. Logo’s contest. Each student prepared a logo susceptible to represent our project. A vote was organised in order to choose the best one.

  1. “Present your surroundings, town or region with its specificities”: culture box

  1. “Present some aspects of your traditions”.

  1. “Make your partners discover your cuisine, your writers, your music”

extract of the padet

  1. We encouraged our students to visit the partners’ pages in order to get in touch with the students they thought could become an e-pal. One of the final goals of the project which would thus constitute a start for great friendships.

  1. Students were invited to write an article on climate change to conclude with the tasks.

All the information, as usual, were available on the TS (Twinspace), uploaded by the students themselves.

Notes

  1. Each work made by the students, and uploaded on the Twinspace  was a basis for an online meeting, prepared by our great team of teachers.

  2. Students could gain therefore in autonomy

  3. They improved their writing skills

  4. They improved their ability to talk in English.

webinars

  1. Several webinars took places with teachers in order to plan the tasks and prepare the online meetings with students

  1. Several online meetings with both students and teachers. Kahoot games were then organized. And to be honest, teachers played as much as students for example when the meeting was about our different cultures (writers and music)

e-safety and eTwinning day

  1. e-safety, was always in our mind

  1. We celebrated the eTwinning day.

End

We are sad to leave this project,  however, ready to meet again our partners in a new eTwinning project!
